Leslie Steffe, a Distinguished Research Professor of Mathematics Education, was named a 2010 Fellow of the American Educational Research Association in recognition of his accomplishments in education research.
He was inducted during AERA’s 91st annual meeting May 1 in Denver. Steffe’s research is focused on constructing models of children’s mathematical thinking and learning throughout elementary and middle school years.
