Monique Y. Leclerc, Outstanding Achievement in Biometeorology

Monique Y. Leclerc, crop and soil sciences professor, has received the award for Outstanding Achievement in Biometeorology from the American Meteorological Society.The award recognizes pioneering research that has advanced the understanding of temporal and spatial patterns of local and regional carbon exchanges as well as global leadership in the advancement of biometeorology. Leclerc is the first woman to receive the honor. The award was presented in January at the AMS annual meeting in New Orleans.
