Laura Dean, elected to the directorate of the American College Personnel Association

Laura Dean, an assistant professor in the college student affairs administration program, was elected to the directorate of the American College Personnel Association Commission for Professional Preparation for 2009-2012.

Dean will focus on issues such as curriculum development, curriculum resources, professional development and recruitment agreements while serving in this position. Dean’s research interests include small college environments, the use of standards in student affairs and college counseling issues.
