Jane Gatewood, director of international partnerships in the Office of International Education, was awarded the Fulbright International Education Administrator Seminar Award in India by the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board.
In March, Gatewood will spend two weeks in New Delhi and other major cities in India attending meetings with representatives of Indian universities, private-sector agencies and organizations as well as governmental agencies. She also will visit university international offices to become familiar with program designs, organizational structures, quality assurance procedures, and credit and degree expectations in Indian higher education. The Seminar Award aims to achieve a balance of topical discussion, knowledge sharing, experiential excursions and exposure to societal/cultural facets of India.
