An article entitled “Why attractiveness matters” in the Hindustan Times, a newspaper based in the Indian subcontinent, quoted Victoria Plaut, a psychologist in UGA’s Institute for Behavioral Health.
“The importance of attractiveness varies with certain socio-cultural environments, and, if you think about it, urban environments are actually a relatively recent addition to human life,” she said.
