Robert Hill, an associate professor of lifelong education, administration and policy in the College of Education and lead principal investigator, and Ervan Garrison, a professor of anthropology, Franklin College of Arts and Sciences, co-PI, have received $10,000 from the Native Arts and Cultures Foundation for the project “Mobilizing a Navajo Community through the Arts.” The award, a collaborative project with the Navajo Nation, will assist in preserving endangered cultural knowledge in traditional pottery arts.
