Dan Williams, forest manager with the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources, will be teaching “Garden Geology, Rocks of the Piedmont,” an eight-week workshop on the rocks of the Georgia Eastern Blue Ridge and Inner Piedmont provinces. The course will run Wednesdays from Jan. 11-Feb. 29 from 4-6 p.m. in the Conservatory at the State Botanical Garden. The workshop costs $45, $40 for garden members.
