Elena Karahanna received Association for Information Systems Fellow Award

Elena Karahanna, the Rast Professor of Business in the Terry College of Business, received the Association for Information Systems Fellow Award at the 2012 International Conference on Information Systems in Orlando. The award recognizes individuals who have made outstanding research, teaching and service contributions to the field of information systems throughout their careers.

Karahanna, who teaches in the management information systems department, has spent her career figuring out information systems implementation. Her research has been published in scholarly journals such as Management Science, MIS Quarterly and Information Systems Research as well as in practitioner journals such as MIS Quarterly Executive, Cutter Benchmark Review and Business Horizons.
