Community Food Access Interest Group

The Community Food Access Interest Group will hold its first meeting Oct. 15 from 3-5 p.m. the Training Room of J.W. Fanning Building, 1240 S. Lumpkin St.

The Office of Service-Learning in partnership with P.L.A.C.E. invites faculty, graduate students, staff and individuals interested in community and school gardening, sustainability hunger and related topics to attend.

The meeting is an opportunity for participants to make connections, report on ongoing teaching, research and outreach work and to explore new ways to engage students in service learning projects related to food access in collaboration with a range of community organizations.
