Campus Services Fair will take place May 23 in East Village Commons

The annual Campus Services Fair offers a chance for faculty and staff members to find about services offered by the university’s auxiliary and administrative services division.

The fair runs from 2–4 p.m. May 23 at the East Village Commons. Free parking is available in the East Campus parking deck and the campus transit system will offer rides to the fair.

“One of the things we find is that faculty and staff are not always aware of our services, and this is an opportunity for them to really learn what we can offer them and how they can take advantage of what we do,” said Mike Floyd, head of food services.

The event started out as a showcase for UGA Catering, but quickly ballooned to include departments like University Printing, the Office of Security and Emergency Preparedness, Central Duplicating, Campus Mail, the UGA Golf Course and more. Participants can sample food from campus eateries and UGA Catering, and take home literature about parking services, the police department and campus transit.

The fair is under the direction of George Stafford, associate vice president of auxiliary and administrative services.
