A public bicycle self-repair station has been installed in front of the Ramsey Student Center. It is part of a partnership with UGA Recreational Sports and the Facilities Management Division.

The station features basic tools and an air pump to address minor bicycle repair needs. Users also can scan a QR code, a bar code that functions with most smartphones, located on the station to access helpful repair tips. Anyone can use the station free of cost.

The station also will be used for bicycle maintenance clinics offered each semester. For more information, contact Lance Haynie, assistant director for outdoor recreation, at lhaynie@uga.edu.
