Barbara A. White, chief information officer and associate provost, made a presentation entitled “Striving for Business Alignment: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly!” at the third annual Leadership and Best Practices Conference at the Sheraton Crystal City in Arlington, Va. The presentation provided a case study on lessons learned in aligning leadership and key stakeholders around institutional information technology priorities.
White spoke on the interconnected web of strategic leadership, strategic planning, governance, communication and performance and accountability competencies.
