Authors reception

The tenth annual Faculty and Staff Authors Reception will be held on Oct. 24 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the UGA Bookstore.

Faculty and staff who have published books within the past 24 months should contact the UGA Bookstore by 5 p.m. Oct. 10 to make arrangements to have their books displayed at the reception.

For authors whose recent books already are displayed in the local and faculty author section, the bookstore will still need an email reminder with the publication date to make sure the books are displayed for the event. Authors should include the ISBN and publisher information as well as their home department when contacting the bookstore.

The bookstore would like to have copies of faculty and staff authors’ books available in store for purchase as well, even if they aren’t new -publications. For questions, contact Jonathan Hall, general books manager, at ugabookstore@gmail.com.
