Ashley Callahan named finalist for Millia Davenport Publication Award

Ashley Callahan, a part-time instructor and former curator of the Henry D. Green Center for the Study of the Decorative Arts at the Georgia Museum of Art, organized the exhibition catalog Modern Threads: Fashion and Art by Mariska Karasz (Georgia Museum of Art, 2007), which was a top finalist for the Millia Davenport Publication Award presented by the Costume Society of America.

The Millia Davenport Publication Award is presented annually to a published book or exhibition catalogue that makes a significant contribution to the study of costume. The award recognizes excellence in scholarship in the study of costume and in promoting research and publication in the area.
