The Academy of the Environment will hold a fall luncheon and meeting Nov. 29 from 11:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. in the Memorial Hall ballroom.
UGA President Michael F. Adams will be the keynote speaker and will deliver an address on “Sustainable UGA.” He will discuss a number of initiatives and programs under way at UGA that deal with environmental and sustainability issues. Additionally, there will be presentations by representatives of Physical Plant, the Office of University Architects and the student-led Go Green Alliance, which is involved in sustainability activities.
