Professor and head of the food science and technology department to receive award

Rakesh K. Singh, professor and head of the food science and technology department, will receive the Elizabeth Fleming Stier Award at the Institute of Food Technologists’ annual meeting and food expo in Anaheim, Calif., in June. 

The award honors an IFT member for pursuit of humanitarian ideals and unselfish dedication that have resulted in significant contributions to the well-being of the food industry, academia, students or the general public.
