The mission of Columns is to communicate news of institutional importance to faculty, staff and others interested in the mission and goals of the University of Georgia.
The publication's aim is to help readers first understand and then champion the priorities of the university. Columns builds a sense of community among its readers by telling stories that create pride about the work being done by individuals and teams at UGA to enhance the university's institutional brand and reputation in the state, nation and world.
Columns is published weekly during the academic year and biweekly during the summer for the faculty and staff of the University of Georgia by the Division of Marketing & Communications. The print version is available to the community by subscription for an annual fee of $40 (first class) or $20 (second class).
